Use of environmentally friendly products, training local staff and limiting the lodge's impact on the natural movement of animals.

Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

All construction uses local techniques and materials and are completely bio-degradeable.The structures in the camp were built only after establishing the camp and studying animal movements. We thereby preserve the established paths of animals to the river. Solar panels provide essential electrical needs (refrigeration, charging phones etc) whilst minimising waste. All staff is local with training and career progressions identified and developed.
